The Soundweb Contrio AC-V and AC-5S are simple analog wall controllers designed for use with BSS Audio Soundweb London devices. Both the AC-V and AC-5S are available in black or white, and in single-gang US Decora or single-gang EU form factor. The AC-V and AC-5S are designed to connect to General Purpose Inputs (GPI) (also known as “Control Inputs”) found on Soundweb London devices. Most Soundweb London devices contain 12 GPI. The Soundweb London BLU-GPX contains 36 GPI. The AC-V contains a single 47k Ohm logarithmic potentiometer which is useful for volume control. The AC-V requires one GPI. Therefore, up to 12 AC-V controllers can connect to a single Soundweb London device, and up to 36 AC-V controllers can connect to a single BLU-GPX. The AC-5S contains a single five-position resistor ladder which is useful for source selection or preset recall. The AC-5S requires one GPI. Therefore, up to 12 AC-5S controllers can connect to a single Soundweb London device, and up to 36 AC-5S controllers can connect to a single BLU-GPX. The AC-V and AC-5S are configured using HiQnet Audio Architect via simple drag and drop operations. While almost any parameter can be mapped to the physical controls, the AC-V is most commonly used for volume control, and the AC-5S is most commonly used for source selection or preset recall.
