The FLM-325-I4-A and FLM-325-I4-AI modules are used to connect standard Normally Open or Normally Closed dry contact types of fire alarm devices such as pull stations or water flow devices. The modules are mounted to a cover plate for a 4-inch square or double-gang electrical back box. A bi-colored LED provides the module status.
Functions | Address Range
Contact Monitor modules must be programmed with a unique address. All devices connected to module appear only as one single address at the fire panel. The modules are compatible with 254 addresses.
Status Conditions
The module supervises the wiring to the contact with an EOL resistor. If a fault condition occurs, the module sends a trouble signal to the fire panel.
If a status change occurs, the module sends an interrupt signal to the fire panel indicating that an alarm has occurred.
Initiating Device Circuit Connections
The initiating device circuit can use any number of UL listed Normally Open (NO) contact closure devices. Device circuit wiring must not exceed 50 ?. Install contact closure devices according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. All wiring must be supervised and power-limited.
